Airship...take off!
Went to see this band play in York a couple of weeks back at the microscopic-sized City Screen Basement Bar after seeing this Channel M session on their MySpace and...well...they came, they saw, they rocked! Airship truly are a fully formed band ready to get out there and woo the world with a sound that's well influenced but somehow still manages to sound unique. The major labels are already circling overhead so I won't bore you with any comparisons or tired clichés, just some advice: do yourself a favor, buy their EP on iTunes/listen on Spotify and catch them in a small venue before they take off into the atmosphere.
